This Privacy Policy explains how bidric collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use bidric. bidric is a B2B SaaS product for contractors that aggregates public government bid information and helps users manage bid discovery and review, operated by Bidric LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information such as email address, name, and authentication identifiers provided through Clerk.
- Company profile information such as company name, trades, service areas, certifications, saved views, and bid preferences.
- Usage analytics such as pages viewed, features used, searches, saved filters, device/browser information, and approximate event timestamps.
- Email engagement information such as delivery, open, click, bounce, unsubscribe, and complaint events.
- Support communications you send to us, including email content and related metadata.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, personalize bid matching, maintain company profiles and saved views, send alerts and transactional emails, process payments, troubleshoot issues, measure product usage, improve bidric, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Processors and Subprocessors
We use third-party service providers to operate bidric. They may process information only as needed to provide services to us and are not allowed to use it for their own unrelated purposes.

5. LLM Processing
bidric uses DeepSeek to process public bid text, such as solicitations, amendments, and other publicly available procurement materials. User account data, company profile data, billing data, saved views, private notes, and support communications are not sent to the LLM.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
bidric uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, product analytics, preference storage, and email or marketing measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling required cookies may prevent the service from working.
7. Data Retention
We retain account, company profile, billing, analytics, and support information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies a specific user or company.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to or deletion of your account information by contacting support@bidric.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
You may also update certain account and company profile information inside the product where those controls are available.
9. Email and CAN-SPAM
bidric sends transactional, product, and alert emails related to your account and saved preferences. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe mechanism, and we will honor unsubscribe requests as required by CAN-SPAM and other applicable email rules. Some service, security, billing, or account notices may still be sent when necessary.
10. Children
bidric is intended for businesses and professional users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
