Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of bidric, a business-to-business software service operated by Bidric LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the company or organization you represent.

2. Service Description

bidric aggregates publicly available government bid information and related documents from public sources. We organize opportunities, summarize public bid text, surface deadlines and amendments, and provide workflow tools to help contractors evaluate opportunities.

bidric is not affiliated with any government agency. Documents are fetched from public sources and may be delayed, changed, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. bidric does not guarantee that any opportunity, document, deadline, amendment, instruction, eligibility requirement, or submission requirement is complete, current, or error-free.

Your company is responsible for confirming every bid detail against the official solicitation and public source before making business decisions or submitting a response.

3. Accounts and Access

Authentication is provided through Clerk. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You may only use bidric for lawful business purposes and only for the company or organization associated with your account.

4. Subscription, Trial, and Billing

The Solo (Northeast) plan is $19.99 per month or $199 per year and includes a 14-day trial. You may cancel anytime. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, subscriptions renew for successive billing periods (monthly or annual, as selected) until canceled. If we introduce additional coverage tiers, subscribers on the Solo (Northeast) plan keep their plan's price for as long as their subscription remains active.

Fees are billed in U.S. dollars. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months, unused time, missed opportunities, or account inactivity. If payment fails or remains overdue, we may suspend or terminate access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk export, mirror, or resell bidric data or service outputs.
  • Use bidric to build or improve a competing bid aggregation, alerting, or document intelligence product.
  • Abuse, probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls of the service.
  • Upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, malicious, or harmful content.
  • Use bidric in a way that violates law, procurement rules, or third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

bidric and its software, design, workflows, analysis, summaries, and service outputs are owned by bidric or its licensors. Public bid documents and public source materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their original sources.

You retain ownership of company profile information and other content you provide to bidric. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, display, and use that content to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

7. Disclaimers

bidric is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

bidric does not make procurement, legal, compliance, bid/no-bid, pricing, eligibility, or submission decisions for you. Any summaries, classifications, alerts, and recommendations are informational aids only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bidric will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost opportunities, procurement errors, or data loss.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid to bidric in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using bidric or cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, fail to pay fees, create security or operational risk, or use the service unlawfully.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, payment obligations, and governing law.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Rhode Island, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue and jurisdiction will be in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@bidric.com.
